The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
The Old Town or Centro Historico of Quito is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site because it is one of the largest, least-altered and best preserved historic centers in the Americas. In the foreground is the bell tower of Iglesia San Agustin and behind is the dome of Iglesia El Sagrario and the tower of la Catedral. The twin towers of the San Francisco Church and Monastery dominate the background.
