Fire Obsidian 4 metal print by Tom Dodge. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.
The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.
Metal prints are extremely durable. They're lightweight. They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

A hand-worked piece of Fire Obsidian from the private collection of Tom Dodge. This cabochon has been expertly photographed by C. Perani to highlight the natural color and iridescent “fire” of this rare stone.
All colors are true to the individual stone and have not been highlighted or altered in any way - the stone’s natural fire is enough!
About Tom Dodge
Tom Dodge is a retired geologist who specializes in mining, cutting, and polishing Fire Obsidian, a beautiful and exotic volcanic stone. Fire Obsidian is extremely rare, known to exist in only one location in the southwestern USA. The optical properties of Fire Obsidian create color palettes, patterns, and iridescence similar to the precious gemstone opal. Each piece of Fire Obsidian is unique, and their spectacular natural color makes these stones a significant challenge for both the lapidary artist and photographer. While Fire Obsidian's rarity prevents it from appearing in many collections, these fine art prints allow anyone to enjoy and display these incredible works of lapidary beauty.
